Accessibility statement

Copyfree wants everyone to be able to use copyfree.com, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we’ve done

  • Pages are built to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Text and buttons meet WCAG color contrast requirements.
  • Pages use clear headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can move around easily.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Forms have visible labels and clear error messages, and move you to the first field that needs attention.
  • The site works at phone sizes and when zoomed in, without sideways scrolling.

How we test

  • We scan every page with automated accessibility testing (axe-core, checking WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at Levels A and AA) at desktop and phone sizes.
  • We review how every page is presented to screen readers and other assistive technology: page structure and headings, link and button names, image descriptions, form labels, and error and status messages.
  • We check that every page, menu, filter and form can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline throughout.

Known limitations

  • The remote support window on our Support page is provided by ConnectWise, and its accessibility is outside our control. If you have trouble with it, call us and we’ll help another way.
  • Product brochures are PDFs from the manufacturer and may not be fully accessible. Call us and we’ll go over the details with you.
  • Links to Canon’s website take you to a site we don’t control.
